Overnight in Hanoi

After breakfast at hotel, at 8:00 am, your driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi to travel to Halong Bay on a comfortable journey (approx. 3.5 hours).

Upon arrival, transfer on Heritage Cruiss- the first Vietnamese boutique cruise on the Red River and the Gulf of Tonkin. Our fleet of vessels combines classic elegance with comfort, showcasing the country’s history, art, cuisine and culture.

At noon, the boat’s team welcomes you on board to check in to your cabins.

A few minutes into the cruise, you are invited to savor Vietnamese dishes at the restaurant.

Heritage Cruises takes you to contemplate the magnificent sceneries made from limestone mountain of Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba Archipelago. This bay is untouched and remote, as not many cruise boats use this route.
The cruise vessel approaches the Ba Trai Dao (Three Peach beaches) or Tra Bau in Lan Ha Bay, a natural frontier between the provinces of Halong and Haiphong. This secret hideaway has beaches, caves and coves, plus the spectacular natural beauty of about 400 islands. Guests can try kayaking or simply swim in the clear waters of the bay. After returning to the cruise boat, enjoy life aboard the vessel or in your suite, and with cocktail in hand watch the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. You are offered such activities as a massage, kayaking or afternoon tea.

In the evening, a chef will demonstrate the art of preparing traditional Vietnamese spring rolls or Banh Xeo. An a la carte dinner menu is also offered. Evening activities can include a movie night, board games and squid fishing.

* Itinerary may be subject to change due to weather condition.

Overnight on board in Halong.

At sunrise on the second day, guests have the opportunity to experience Vovinam, a Vietnamese martial art. Have a light breakfast on board around at 06:45 then head off in a bamboo boat to exlore the Dark and Bright Cave. Return to the boat for check-out. After checkout, brunch is served on board during the cruise back to Tuan Chau International Marina in Ha Long City.

After 24 hours at sea, you’ll start heading back to land, but the fun isn’t over yet. Put the finishing touch on your trip by a scenic seaplane ride. After, a quick check-in and briefing at the marina, you’ll strap in for an unforgettable ride. The seaplane takes off from the water in under a minute, and for the next 20, you’ll be gazing out the windows, captivated by the views below. It’s a perspective of Halong Bay few travellers get to see: emerald water sparkling in the sun, hundreds of empty beaches, and limestone karsts of every formation. All these scenes of Halong Bay — its shapes and skies, its magnitude — are a fabulous final takeaway.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source.
